It is yet to be discovered what the celebrities’ reactions are to the formula change
Popular reality programme Celebs Go Dating is reportedly preparing to unveil one of its most dramatic shake-ups yet.
This development arrives a decade since the programme debuted on E4. The shake-up is designed to add extra excitement to the upcoming series.
The Sun reports that the famous faces participating this year will all be given the chance to establish a throuple. A source revealed to the outlet: “The man and woman are very much up for forming a throuple and they don’t seem to mind whether it’s with another man or another woman.
“In fact they seem very relaxed about the prospect of some kind of romance with any of the celebs present. Though it might not be an option the celebrities are expecting, they are expected to be open minded when they approach the process.
“And there is at least one participant who shows an interest in the forming a ménage à trois…but who it is and how it pans out is being kept closely under wraps.”
Celebs Go Dating is anticipated to make its comeback for a 15th series later this year. The roster of famous participants was announced in January, reports OK!
The line-up features rapper Professor Green, Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan, former rugby star James Haskell, Celebrity Big Brother champion David Potts, ex-Love Islander Gabby Allen and Married At First Sight Australia cast member Lucinda Light. Fans will be thrilled to see Tom Read Wilson return to the show following his popular stint on I’m A Celebrity. The star clinched second place in the 2025 series, with YouTuber Angry Ginge taking the crown. Additionally, the familiar voice of comedian Rob Beckett will once again serve as the narrator.
Therapist Anna Williamson is set to reprise her role, alongside dating and relationship expert Paul C Brunson, and sexual communication specialist Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn.
Viewers are reportedly most excited about hearing Dr Tara’s insights and views on the potential throuple, given her own open-minded stance on open relationships.
Paul C Brunson has already whetted fans’ appetites for the upcoming series, stating: “What’s beautiful is that we have a lot of cast members who are specifically coming for the coaching, for the counselling, for therapy.”
David Potts, who previously appeared on Celebs Go Dating nearly a decade ago, expressed his excitement about returning to the programme: “I am so excited to be rejoining the agency again 8 years later. I feel like I’ve grown a lot as a person and I’m so excited to go into it all guns a blazin’. Agents, it’s time to find me a husband.”
Channel 4 have been approached for a statement.
A release date for Celebs Go Dating Series 15 is yet to be announced. Fans can catch up with previous seasons on Channel 4’s online streaming service.
