Hollywood usually ignores anime until they’re ready to buy the rights to a property and ruin it, but now one anime has become so big it’s impossible to ignore. Demon Slayer has reached popularity beyond standard Crunchyroll offerings, so they’ve hired Channing Tatum.
Channing Tatum’s biggest recent role was as Gambit in the mega-hit blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine. Now the actor will voice Keizo, a mentor from the demon Akaza’s human past. His performance will be in the English dub of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle.

Keizo will appear in flashbacks, giving the ruthless Upper Rank 3 Akaza a weightier emotional center.
This Demon Slayer film isn’t a one-off; it’s part of a final trilogy, wrapping up the hugely popular demon‑slaying saga. The Japanese-language version has already smashed box office records in Japan, and the US release is set for a theatrical and IMAX debut on September 12, 2025.
