Charli XCX is giving fans an early chance to experience her next era before release day. The singer has announced “The Listening Events,” a series of exclusive cinema screenings for her upcoming album Music, Fashion, Film, which arrives on July 24, 2026.
Shared alongside a sleek promotional poster and a link to her official website, the announcement confirms that the listening events will take place in independent cinemas worldwide from July 9 through July 11. Fans will hear the album in full nearly two weeks before its official release, with screenings scheduled across North America, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
The rollout includes major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Phoenix, Seattle, Denver and Santa Cruz, alongside international stops including Toronto, London, Manchester, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, São Paulo, Mexico City, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.
The announcement marks another unconventional promotional move for Music, Fashion, Film, an album Charli has repeatedly described as a creative departure from the sound that made BRAT a cultural phenomenon.
Momentum around the record has continued to build throughout the past month. Last week, Charli released “Wink Wink (Angel Girl Video),” an alternate visual available exclusively to Spotify Premium subscribers. The exclusive release followed the original video directed by longtime collaborator Aidan Zamiri, expanding the world surrounding one of the album’s standout tracks.
“Wink Wink” serves as the third preview of Music, Fashion, Film, following “Rock Music” and “SS26.”
