Charli xcx has revealed the tracklist for her upcoming album “Music, Fashion, Film,” releasing on July 24.
The 11-track project is slated to include the already-released singles “Rock Music,” “SS26” and “Wink Wink,” which the singer unveiled with music videos over the past month. The album will feature a sole guest appearance from acclaimed horror director David Cronenberg, who appears on the closing track “No One Lasts Forever.”
Charli xcx is in full promo mode for her seventh studio album. Just yesterday, she announced a slate of listening sessions to take place at independent theaters across the globe between July 9-11, mostly in North America, Europe and Australia/New Zealand.
The pop star surprise-announced the album on June 1 by posting its cover on Instagram, featuring a black-and-white photo of John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese to represent each aspect of the title.
“My new album Music, Fashion, Film is out july 24th,” Charli wrote in the caption. “11 songs, 30 minutes, 5 seconds. available to pre order now, love you xx.”
To support the record, Charli will head out on a 12-date North American arena tour, kicking off on September 11 in Philadelphia. The trek includes two nights at both Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Los Angeles’ Kia Forum.
