Charlie Sheen is set to pay ex-wife Brooke Mueller $500,000 in back child support.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Thursday, July 9, Sheen, 60, has agreed to pay Mueller, 48, $250,000 on or before Friday, July 10. The remaining sum of $250,000 shall be paid on or before September 1.
“Upon [Sheen’s] timely payment of the full $500,000, [Mueller’s] disputed claims
for child support arrearages and interest for the period of March 1, 2011, through July 1, 2026, shall be deemed fully satisfied,” court documents stated. (The Sun was first to report the news.)
The agreement also stated that starting on July 1, each parent will be financially responsible for the kids while in their custody.
“This child support order is agreed to without coercion or duress and is in the best interest of the minor children,” court documents stated. “The parties agree that the needs of the minor children will be adequately met by the stipulated amount of child support.”
Us has reached out to Sheen and Mueller’s attorneys for additional comment.
The exes were married between 2008 and 2011 and share 16-year-old twin sons.

Mueller previously filed court documents in December 2025 claiming Sheen owed her millions on their divorce deal. In the filing obtained by Us, Mueller said the actor owed her $8,967,600 for child support from 2011 to 2025, plus interest, totalling $15 million.
In September 2025, Mueller participated in the two-part Netflix docuseries aka Charlie Sheen. At the time, the actress spoke highly of her ex when recalling a difficult time in her life.
“Charlie really stepped up when my stuff was going dark. And it was really dark,” Mueller said when looking back on her struggles with addiction. “He had all the reason not to be there for me, ‘cause when you’re not in your right mind, you become a terror for other people in your life. And now he’s taken the role of the one who is the responsible protector, especially with the boys.”
She continued, “Now he has this role that is very different [from] the role he used to have, and it’s pretty beautiful, magical and I think it’s like a perfect living amends.”
Mueller has also maintained a friendship with Sheen’s ex-wife Denise Richards.
During a March 2025 episode of Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, Richards, 55, explained the unique bond.
“There’s a lot of history there,” she shared. “We are a big, blended family.”
