CONCORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte native and rapper DaBaby is bringing a major hip-hop festival to the area this summer.
The Grammy-nominated rapper, who will be kicking off a nationwide tour this weekend in Houston, Texas, announced Monday that he will be bringing the music festival to Concord.
His upcoming “Be More Grateful” tour has only one stop in the Carolinas, that being in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on April 9. For those who were wishing he’d make a stop closer to home, well, your wishes have been answered.
The festival, which bears the same name as the tour, will be coming to the Route 29 Pavilion on Saturday, June 13, in Concord.
The line-up for the festival includes hip-hop icons, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and Waka Flocka, as well as artists like BigXthaPlug, YKNiece and many more.
Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday, March 27.
