Chicago noise-rock/post-punk greats FACS will tour Australia next month with Chimers, a likeminded Aussie duo from Wollongong. Ahead of the shows, the two bands have released a split 7″. FACS bring their usual beautiful clamorous tension to “Parallel Lives,” which builds to a properly rocked-out finale then dissolves into static. Chimers offer up “Red Chair,” a hard-charging punk track with vocals like an elegant war cry. Hear both songs below.
