Details about the storyline include Dimoldenberg’s character’s “carefully planned life unravels when a routine celebrity interview unexpectedly turns into a romance that makes her question everything she believes about love.”
The Chicken Shop Date creator will be the film’s producer and work alongside Gloria Sanchez Productions, with Girls and Modern Love writer Sarah Heyward penning the script. For now, details on the rest of the cast and Dimoldenberg’s love interest have not been revealed. A possible release date has also not been specified.
News of Dimoldenberg hitting the big screen has led to applause from fans who have watched her journey from the beginning.

Chicken Shop Date has risen to global fame thanks to Dimoldenberg laid back interview style and A-list celebrity guests. The British YouTube interview show posted its first video in March 2014 under Dimoldenberg’s own production company, Dimz Inc. Its premise focuses on interviewing celebrities while taking them on a local chicken shop date around London.
Dimoldenberg’s show was first a column when she was 17-years-old for a local magazine, using a chicken shop as the least romantic and unlikely place for a date. It has since grown to become an award-winning show and includes guests like Jennifer Lawrence, Daniel Kaluuya, Jack Harlow,Ed Sheeran, Charli XCX, Keke Palmer, Youngblud, the Jonas Brothers, Ben Stiller, Idris Elba, and many more.
