With the ‘quiet luxury’ trend, beige was brought to the forefront. This popular color dominated the trendiest interiors of 2022, 2023, and 2024. However, in 2026, the conversation has evolved towards ‘weirder’ and more characterful spaces. Chrissy Teigen‘s living room in her Beverly Hills home demonstrates that the two don’t have to be mutually exclusive.
We spotted the model’s beige space in the background of an Instagram post, showing off the gorgeously neutral, Jake-Arnold-decorated design. Though Chrissy and her husband, John Legend, have embraced a quiet luxury color palette, the styling makes it look anything but boring. Background accents like the gold console table, metallic mirror, and artwork by Nacho Carbonell brighten the areas closest to the walls. I’m especially interested in Chrissy’s sofa styling, which uses tan floral pillows and a mauve woven throw (this cashmere and wool one from Fig Linens and Home is a wonderful alternative) to elevate a classic beige sofa.

Recreate Chrissy’s Look at Home
Comfy Cubs Muslin Throw Blanket
Chrissy uses a mauve throw to brighten her tan sofa. This cotton muslin one feels perfectly light for the approaching spring.
Modern Curved Chenille Sofa
This pretty beige sofa is very similar to the one in Chrissy Teigen’s home. It would be absolutely gorgeous lined with cushions.
Maisie Velvet Floral Lumbar Pillow
Florals don’t have to be boldly colored, this beige and white pillow shows how to make the pattern neutral. The lumbar shape is especially stunning.
Incorporate the chocolate brown color trend with texture using the Amira rug. This has the same color scheme as Chrissy’s, with interesting detail.
Deco 79 Metal Leaf Mirror
Bring some elegance to your living room with this intricate mirror. I’d hang it above a console table to recreate Chrissy’s look.
A unique shape makes this side table the ideal complement to a gold mirror in a neutral living room. I love the idea of using this in a modern space.
As Chrissy’s woven throw demonstrates, the addition of pink or orange is the perfect way to elevate a beige scheme. Magdalena Gierasinska, design expert at Barker and Stonehouse, advises: ‘Take inspiration from Spanish seaside getaways with an interior style that celebrates warmth and color. Embrace rich pink and orange tones, natural textures and warm woods for the perfect combination that evokes a sense of comfort and connection to nature. Pair soft fabrics with limewashed walls for a beautiful blend of materials and choose a color that reflects the sunny feeling of summers spent on the coast.’
To tap into the living room trend organically, this styling should look easily thrown together. Magdalena recommends: ‘A relaxed approach to styling – think draped linens – are key to fostering a refreshing environment that captures the sense of serene comfort enjoyed on holiday within one’s own home.’
‘Boring beige‘ doesn’t have to be so boring after all. Chrissy Teigen’s living room shows that making it interesting can be as simple as adding in a few brightly colored accents and textures.
