David E. Kelley has a new workplace sitcom in the works. The series will be called All’s Fineand have an all-star team of executive producers and writers behind it. Caroline Fox and Matt Tinker will join Kelley in writing and executive producing the upcoming series from his David E. Kelley Productions alongside Chrissy Teigenvia her own company, Huntley Productions.
According to Deadline, the setting is an Austin food truck court where a group of chefs try to keep up with orders and fulfill their dreams. It’s not clear yet who will star in the upcoming sitcom or when it will make its network debut.
After the latest sitcom news was shared, Teigen took to Instagram to express her excitement. In the caption, she wrote, “No big deal, just living the dream with @davidekelleyproductions. Maybe you’ve heard of him!!!!!”
David E. Kelley Is Behind Some Great Sitcoms
We’ve definitely heard of Kelley, the man behind superhits like Ally McBeal and Doogie Howser, M.D. Kelley moved to Hollywood in 1986 to work on the classic legal drama LA Law, where he was an executive producer for Seasons 4 and 5.
With dozens of writing and producing credits, Kelley most recently worked on the Hulu hit Nine Perfect Strangers, starring Nicole Kidman, a show he created alongside John-Henry Butterworth.
He is also the creative force behind The Lincoln Lawyer, Presumed Innocent, Big Sky, and Disney’s Big Shot.
Chrissy Teigen is Building a Comedy Track Record
It’s easy to see why Teigen is excited to work with Kelley, but she’s also no stranger when it comes to making good TV. Teigen held executive producer roles on series including Untold, Chrissy’s Court, and The Way Down.
She’s also appeared as herself in over a dozen roles in television and film and has a handful of voice-acting roles, including Mulligan, The Mitchells vs. The Machines, and a voice role where she played herself on The Simpsons.
