Following her messy divorce from Kevin Costner 2023, Christine Baumgartner found love once again with financier Josh Connor.
The pair sparked romance rumors in July 2023, after they were photographed together on a trip to Hawaii. Still, Baumgartner claimed in court during her divorce proceedings in August that they were just friends. According to TMZ, the model did share that Connor gave her $20,000, half of which she loaned to her mom before returning the other half of the money.
While in court during the proceedings, Costner — who shares kids Cayden, Hayes and Grace with Baumgartner — questioned whether Baumgartner was faithful in their 18 years of marriage after she requested documents relating to his finances.
“Respondent has no responsive documents for ‘extramarital romantic relationships’ in which he engaged because he engaged in none,” read court documents obtained by Us Weekly in August 2023 with Costner’s attorneys noting that Costner “does not know for a fact if [Christine] engaged in any ‘extramarital romantic relationships’ before separation and, if so, whether she spent any of his money or charged any expenses in furtherance of her affair(s) on credit cards he paid.”
Despite claiming they were just friends, multiple reports revealed that Connor and Baumgartner’s relationship turned romantic in January 2024. Following her finalized divorce from Costner in February 2024, Baumgartner and Connor got engaged in January 2025 before tying the knot that October.

Despite being seen with Connor in Hawaii, Baumgartner testified in court that she and Connor were just friends, per TMZ. According to the outlet, Baumgartner did confirm that Connor gave her $20,000. She alleged that she gave a $10,000 loan to her mom before returning the rest of the money to Connor.
That same month, Costner also alleged in court that he “does not know for a fact if [Christine] engaged in any ‘extramarital romantic relationships’ before separation and, if so, whether she spent any of his money or charged any expenses in furtherance of her affair(s) on credit cards he paid.”
January 2024
According to multiple reports, Baumgartner started dating Connor. The pair seemingly confirmed their relationship after the Daily Mail published photos of Baumgartner dropping Connor off at his California home.
Later that month, a source told Us that Costner had “strong suspicions” something was going on between Baumgartner and Connor before they went public with their relationship.
“Their close [bond] was a real elephant in the room,” the insider explained, noting that Baumgartner insists her and Connor’s relationship only turned romantic “relatively recently” and that Connor was her “rock” throughout her divorce. “If Kevin has a problem with that, that’s on him.”
