What you missed at Cincinnati’s Findlay Market Opening Day Parade
The 107th Findlay Market Opening Day Parade took over downtown Cincinnati on March 26, ahead of the Reds’ home opener against the Boston Red Sox.
Cincinnati is home to one of the country’s best riverwalks, according to USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
Smale Riverfront Park ranked No. 2 among the country’s best riverwalks for 2026, a significant increase from last year when it ranked No. 4 on the list. Smale ranked just above Waterfront Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
San Antonio River Walk in San Antonio, Texas, ranked No. 1 overall.
“At Smale Riverfront Park in Cincinnati, visitors can watch the river traffic float by, cycle along the Ohio River Trail, buy fresh produce at the Castellini Esplanade farmers market, cool off in the Fath Family Foundation, or stop to smell the flowers in the Gardner Family Grove and Rose Garden,” 10Best wrote.
Selections for USA TODAY’s 10Best rankings are nominated by a panel of industry experts, vetted by 10Best editors and then voted on by the public. Cincinnati has been featured in several 10Best categories already this year, including Best New Brewery, Best History Museum, Best Children’s Museum, Best Pop Culture Museum and Best City for Street Art.
Newport, Kentucky, also ranked No. 9 for top historic small towns.
