Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber are celebrating almost three decades of marriage.
The supermodel, 60, and the businessman, 64, tied the knot on May 29, 1998, on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The longtime couple marked their 28th wedding anniversary on Friday with nostalgic posts on Instagram.
“From this to this in the blink of an eye,” Crawford captioned two black-and-white photos, the first being a throwback of the couple cutting their wedding cake together and the second being a more recent shot of them cozied up on a date with a celebratory dessert on the table.

She continued, “Celebrating 28 beautiful years with @randegerber. Such a privilege to be married to you. I love you! ❤️.”
Many celebrates, including Maria Shriver and Lisa Rinna, congratulated the couple and wished them a happy anniversary in the comments section of the post, which Crawford also shared on her Instagram Stories.
For Gerber’s part, he shared a screenshot of a photo collage post of Crawford being a “style icon” on his Instagram Stories. He proudly wrote in an onscreen caption, “My Wife!”
The founder of the tequila brand Casamigos also shared an old photo of himself embracing Crawford on a beach during the early days of their relationship. He wrote, “Happy Anniversary again and again and ……….❤️❤️❤️.”

A year after the couple said “I do,” they welcomed their 26-year-old son Presley in 1999. They welcomed their 24-year-old daughter Kaia two years later in 2001. The two kids have followed in their mother’s footsteps to become models (in addition to Kaia’s burgeoning career as an actress).

Exclusively speaking to PEOPLE in 2024, Crawford revealed the two keys to maintaining her happy marriage.
“First of all, Rande and I were friends first. Definitely, we had chemistry, but we had a friendship, and I think that that is a great foundation to build a marriage on because even when you’re going through stressful times, the way you treat a good friend is with respect and understanding and compassion,” she said. “I feel like that’s helped us weather 25 years and some storms.”
She continued, “We don’t fight ugly. I think sometimes people say things in the heat of the moment that are hard to take back, and we don’t really do that. We try to fight about just what we’re fighting about and not character assassinate each other.”
