Les Claypool will play May 22 at Hayden Homes Amphitheater as part of a summer tour featuring three of his bands.
The Claypool Gold tour brings together three of the famed bass player’s sonically adventurous lineups: His famed funk-metal mainstay Primus, his collaboration with Sean Lennon known as the Claypool Lennon Delirium and the experimental psych-rock band Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade.
Each night of the tour, which kicks off May 20 in Reno, all three acts will share the stage at once, making for a fluid show featuring surprises and wildly different setlists.
On Tuesday, Claypool Lennon Delirium released a new single, “WAP (What a Predicament).”
The Claypool Gold tour will travel coast to coast with over 25 shows. Other stops include Seattle, Chicago, Boston, Austin, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, before wrapping up July 4 in Napa, California.
Online-only venue presale starts Thursday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. If you haven’t already, sign up for Concert Alerts to receive presale code. General sale starts at 10 a.m. Friday online or in-person at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District.
