Cloudco Entertainment is celebrating the power of positivity with the launch of the Care-A-Lot Awards, a fan-driven initiative that honors individuals who embody the spirit of the Care Bears. Nominations open today, inviting fans to share how they express the brand’s core values across categories inspired by Cheer Bear, Tenderheart Bear, Funshine Bear, Share Bear, and Togetherness Bear.
“After decades of inspiring care around the globe, we’re turning the spotlight on the people living those values every single day,” says Kristeen Tibbits, VP global marketing at Cloudco Entertainment. “The Care-A-Lot Awards are our way of saying thank you, and of creating space for their stories to inspire others.”
Award recipients will be announced on World Kindness Day, Nov. 13, and will be named honorary ambassadors of their Care Bear, receiving a collectible Care-A-Lot Award trophy. The initiative is designed to recognize real-world acts of caring while deepening fan engagement through storytelling and community participation.
The program builds on the brand’s growing presence in digital culture, where fans increasingly use Care Bears as a form of self-expression. On TikTok, the #CareBears hashtag has generated billions of views, with users remixing the characters’ imagery to reflect themes of nostalgia, humor, and emotional authenticity.
“Fans aren’t just watching Care Bears, they’re becoming them,” adds Sean Gorman, President at Cloudco Entertainment. “This campaign celebrates how people are embodying our characters’ values every day, and it gives them a platform to share their own stories of kindness, creativity, and care.”
The Care-A-Lot Awards represent the next step in the company’s long-term strategy to evolve Care Bears as a lifestyle brand that connects across generations through content, collaborations, and fan-led experiences.
