The Furman Department of Music’s Symphonic Band will present an outdoor “pops” concert on Saturday, April 11, at 2 p.m. in the Furman Amphitheater. Bring your chairs and picnic and share in familiar tunes that will have you clapping, dancing and singing along. Furman’s Sue Samuels, director of bands, and David Stanley, associate director of bands, sponsor the event, which is free and open to the public.
