After posting a new video on Instagram, one of the stars of classic hit movie Clueless sparked concern amongst followers for the content of one social media clip
While Clueless fans are gearing up for a holiday rom-com they can’t wait to see starring one of the iconic films stars, another actress from the franchise has others concerned about her after posting a new Instagram video.
The iconic 1995 film starred Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy, Paul Rudd and several others, and was loosely based off of William Shakespeare’s Emma.
The film became a cult classic hit that still means so much to fans 30 years after it was released, leading them to follow the career paths of the many stars featured in the movie. In the years to follow fans tragically said goodbye to Murphy, who died in 2009 from pneumonia.

However, some are now sounding an alarm about Dash, who has had a tumultuous career in the years since, marked by an opioid addiction, an arrest for domestic battery, and becoming a conservative political commentator.
She withdrew somewhat from the public eye after her 2019 arrest for domestic battery, of which charges were dropped. In the years to follow she also went through a divorce from her husband, Jeffrey Marty, and was largely known for being an avid supporter of Donald Trump.
Now, after taking to social media to seemingly address haters, the 58-year-old sparked concerns over her well-being. In a video set to a loud rock song, she looked directly at the camera as she delivered her message.
“To all you commenters who love leaving negative comments. Don’t you realize that the more likes you get only shows just how common you are?” she said.
She then laughed hysterically while briefly twirling a strand of her hair, before turning away to fluff her hair in a mirror. She then turned to the camera again and continued to laugh.
Though some shared comments showing her love and support and praise, others expressed that the clip was actually a bit scary, asking what happened and if she was okay.
“Ok mental health is so real,” one person wrote. Another concerned fan added, “She needs help” and another wrote, “Yo what happened to you man smh.”
“I’m scared,” someone else added. Others wrote “You scary for sure,” “Bro, she looks scary,” and “That’s some scary stuff. She belongs on the side she’s on.”
“This is not Stacey Dash,” an additional person commented, while another person called it “Creepy almost demonic.”
The posts come four years after she opened up about her past addiction to painkillers and also reversed her stance on Trump in an interview with The Daily Mail.
“Being a supporter of Trump has put me in some kind of box that I don’t belong in. But he’s not the president. I’m going to give the president that we have right now a chance,” she said at the time.
