Coachella just announced the lineup for the 2026 festival, and it includes a couple performers from New England.
Taking place from April 10 through April 19 in California’s Coachella Valley, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will celebrate music with two jam-packed weekends of performances by over 100 artists from all over the world. Along with major headliners Sabrina Carpenter and Justin Bieber, this year’s lineup features two performers with New England ties: Moby and Fleshwater.
Here’s what to know about the performers, as well as how to go to Coachella this year.
Coachella performers with New England ties

Moby, EDM artist, songwriter, producer and DJ, may be famous for living in New York City, but he actually spent much of his early life in Connecticut. After being born in New York City’s Harlem, Moby grew up in Connecticut, living mainly in Darien, but also Danbury, Stratford, Norwalk and Stamford, according to an interview with CT Insider. He is a graduate of Darien High School, says his website, and studied at the University of Connecticut.
Moby will perform at Coachells 2026 on Friday, APril 10 and Friday, April 17.
Also performing on both Friday’s of the festival is Fleshwater, a rock band made up of Marisa Shirar, Anthony DiDio, Jeremy Martin, Jonathan Lhaubouet and Josian Ramos. While not all of the members are from Massachusetts, the band itself formed in Boston in 2017 as a side project from the band Vein.fm.

How to go to Coachella
Coachella passes go on sale this Friday, Sept. 19 at 1 p.m., though interested parties should register online now for access. Attendees of the 2024 or 2025 festivals get early access starting Thursday, Sept. 18 at 1 p.m. when using the same email to register.
