Ten dates, four bands, one of the busiest years Converge have had in a decade continues. The Massachusetts hardcore vets are heading back across the Atlantic this November for a run through Germany, the Netherlands, France, and the UK, with Sanguisugabogg, Blackbraid, and Pupil Slicer on most of the bill.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 10, at 11am CET / 10am UK.
The dates:

11/12 Munich, Germany at Backstage
11/13 Karlsruhe, Germany at Substage
11/14 Eindhoven, Netherlands at Helldorado (no Sanguisugabogg, Blackbraid)
11/15 Strasbourg, France at La Laiterie
11/16 Paris, France at Bataclan
11/18 Leeds, UK at Project House
11/19 Bristol, UK at Electric Bristol
11/20 Glasgow, UK at SWG3
11/21 Nottingham, UK at Rock City
11/22 London, UK at Electric Brixton

The run closes out a year that already saw Converge drop two full-length records, their first non-collaborative albums since 2017.
“Love Is Not Enough” landed on Epitaph in February, running 31 minutes across tracks like “Bad Faith”, “Distract and Divide”, and “We Were Never the Same”. At that length it is the shortest record in their catalogue, and the reception has been that it leans back toward the blistering early-2000s metalcore shape a lot of long-time listeners still hold up as the peak Converge sound.
Then in June came “Hum of Hurt” on Deathwish Inc., ten tracks in 33 minutes, built around the idea of The Hum, that low-frequency sound only a small fraction of people ever report hearing. Musically it pulls harder on noise rock than the February record does. Tracks include “Slip the Noose”, “Doom in Bloom”, “It Only Gets Worse”, and “It Used to Matter”, the last of which got its own music video on July 8.
Both albums were produced by Kurt Ballou at GodCity, which at this point is less a fact worth flagging and more the natural state of things.

The touring package around it is worth a closer look. Sanguisugabogg are the Ohio death metal crew who spent the last few years turning slam and gore-worship into a stadium-adjacent joke that somehow keeps landing. Blackbraid is Sgah’gahsowáh’s solo black metal project out of the Adirondacks, one of the more talked-about names in US black metal in the last few years. Pupil Slicer are the London tech-adjacent hardcore band who have been mid-transformation from grind to something more ambitious across their last two records. It is a bill that does not sit neatly in one genre bucket, which suits Converge’s own catalogue at this point.
indhoven gets Converge and Pupil Slicer only. Every other night is the full package.
