The fans flocked to the Hershey for The Jim Bob World Tour, featuring headliner Hardy.
The country-rock artist performed at the Hersheypark Stadium, and shared with the crowd that the show was a special one for him.
Hardy said that there were “22,000 of you [expletives] here tonight” as he asked them to jump during a song.
After that number came to an end, he broke down the math, saying that it wasn’t long ago that he and the band set a record for themselves by playing a concert where they had sold 16,000 “hard tickets.”
“A hard ticket is meaning your own headlining show,” Hardy explained, before continuing to discuss the recent additions to that record.
“Last night we played at Burgettstown, which is basically right outside of Pittsburgh,” he said. “We sold 20,000 tickets. We broke that record.”
But Hershey wasn’t about to let Burgettstown steal the glory.
“And [expletive], if we didn’t break it two nights in a row,” Hardy said, to enthusiastic cheers from all 22,000 Hershey audience members.
“So let’s have some fun and celebrate that together,” he said.
The concert continued, as Hardy had promised to “[expletive] you up for the next 90 minutes” at the top of the show. To check out the concert recap, click here.
