At 31, Dakota Fanning admits dating isn’t easy. “I’ve had some doozies lately,” she shared in the new issue of Vanity Fair.
The Watchers actress also told the mag that she’d joined the celeb dating app Raya — a members-only space used by A-listers from Eric Stonestreet to Chelsea Handler — to find love. “I did it for fun,” the Emmy nominee spilled, explaining, “My girlfriend made it for me.” But after having no luck, she decided, “I’m canceling this thing.”
The former child star, whose past loves include model Jamie Strachan and non-celeb Henry Frye, has admitted she takes dating seriously to Glamour, in part because her parents met in elementary school and got married right after college.
“I’ve always thought that’s what it’s supposed to be like,” she’s said. “And if it’s not, then I don’t want to waste my time on it!”
