Dakota Johnson can always pull off a boho style moment—even if the occasion is a casual date night.
Over the weekend, the Materialists star stepped out in Los Angeles with her new beau, singer Role Model. The two stopped by an office before heading to dinner at Italian hotspot Little Dom’s in Los Feliz.
For the evening, Johnson pulled off a low-key take on her bohemian It girl style. Bringing justice to the going-out top, she slipped on a frilly, sheer, black blouse with ruffles that cascaded down her chest—which she wore over a black bra. (Ruffles are hot right now.) Toward the bottom, the piece split open, giving a peek at the actor’s torso.
Johnson paired the romantic top with easy, breezy lounge pants. The loose black trousers sat low on her hips, and went perfectly with her black round-toe flats.
Johnson popped on a pair of silver hoop earrings, and draped a black sweater over her shoulders to stay warm, but the highlight of her fit was the luscious red leather bag she carried on her shoulder—seemingly the Row’s Red Astra Leather Bowling Bag. A casual up-down hairdo and glossy, natural makeup completed her look.
Role Model—born Tucker Harrington Pillsbury—paired a cropped blue T-shirt with light-wash blue jeans, brown Western-style boots, a brown belt, and a green camo hat.
Johnson was first linked to the “a little more time” singer last December, when they were seen out for dinner with friends. Previously, the 50 Shades of Grey star dated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for about eight years; the two split last summer.
