Manipur is facing internal disturbances for quite some time, and tourism has understandably taken a hit. We were also told by many to not to visit Manipur! But here we are, celebrating Dali’s 57th painting, created at the historic Kangla Fort, Imphal, Manipur.
Here’s to Manipur and its people…
And to all the beautiful friendships we made along the way… we can’t wait to be back!
During our time there, we experienced nothing but warmth, kindness and hospitality. Friendly smiles everywhere, open hearts and people who deeply love their land. Something to learn from!
They want the world to visit to know their timeless history, witness the elegance of traditional Manipuri dance, taste their authentic cuisine, and feel the soul of the place. We were truly showered with love. And the surroundings, the landscapes of Manipur are nothing short of mesmerizing.
We sincerely hope peace returns soon and Manipur takes its place as one of the most beautiful travel destinations in India.
