New music highlights from Dancing Astronaut’s Artists to Watch in 2025

Eli Brown – Wavey (Linska Remix)

Linska caps off her Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2025 campaign with an official remix for Eli Brown. Her rework of “Wavey” became a staple in her sets across the globe, evolving into a red-hot ID in the months preceding its release. And the momentum continues as she prepares to play London’s Drumsheds with Drumcode in March and follows up with the release of her sold-out headline set at Austin’s The Concourse Project, now live on YouTube. – Zach Salafia

Beltran – TOOLS 4 HARDWORKERS 005 [EP]

Beltran puts his finishing touches on his Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2025 calendar with an early holiday gift in the form of his fifth TOOLS 4 HARDWORKERS EP. And it marks the fourth double-sided delivery in the series in just 2025 alone, with Beltran earning our seal of approval on its space-themed track titles — “Saturn” and “Jupiter” — that continue to polish his unmistakable Brazilian house sound. – Ross Goldenberg

Timbaland – The Way I Are (feat. Keri Hilson & D.O.E.) (Max Dean Remix)

Rising tech-house artist and Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch alumni Max Dean got the green light to deliver a high-energy, official remix of Nelly Furtado & Timbaland’s legendary anthem, “The Way I Are.” Dean injects his signature bouncy groove into the 2000’s classic, pairing the iconic vocal hooks with sharp percussion and a driving bassline. The result is an infectious club weapon that primes a nostalgic classic for the modern dancefloor. – Liana Stern

Frank Ocean – Lost (Gabss & Vintage Culture Remix)

Gabss and Vintage Culture finally deliver their long-awaited official remix of Frank Ocean’s “Lost” today. The rework has been building hype before its official release, and now lands as a polished crossover moment between the electronic and alt-R&B worlds. Gabss, who’s steadily carved out a reputation for sleek edits, teams up with global dance heavyweight Vintage Culture, whose rise has taken him from underground standout to festival mainstay. By reimagining a beloved classic, the duo underscores their shared knack for translating emotion across genres and audiences. – Danielle Carty

Adam Ten & Mita Gami – The Queen (303 Retouch)

Adam Ten and Mita Gami — two Dancing Astronaut Artists to Watch in 2024 — reunite on the release front with a new 303 Retouch on one of their defining records, “The Queen.” Originally released in 2020, this updated version sees the Maccabi House founders revisiting the track with a heavier, more driving edge. Out now via Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels, the release reinforces the duo’s continued evolution as tastemakers in indie dance. – Alex Lambeau

Pegassi – 227kg

Belgian Eurodance producer Pegassi closes out a standout year with the long-awaited official release of “227kg,” out now on his Sweet Nothing label. After circulating organically on SoundCloud for nearly two years and becoming his most viral ID, the track finally lands on streaming platforms. The release marks a full-circle moment for Pegassi, who has spent the past year solidifying his identity as both an artist and label head, with “227kg” capping off a standout year as both an artist and label head. – Alex Lambeau
