“Dancing with the Stars” hits Intrust Bank Arena on Saturday

Saturday will be a busy day in the Wichita area. The calendar includes a chance to tiptoe through the tulips, watch famous dancers on stage, even enjoy a Victorian tea party.

Here’s a guide to some of the fun things happening on Saturday:

‘DWTS’ Live

The cast of the hit show “Dancing with the Stars” will be back at Intrust Bank Arena, 500 E. Waterman, on Saturday with a live stage performance. Among the dancers appearing will be Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Britt Stewart, Daniella Karagach, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Jenna Johnson, Pasha Pashkov and Val Chmerkovskiy. The cohost of the Wichita stop will be Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga on “Boy Meets World” and was a onetime contestant on the show. The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $75-$163 at www.selectaseat.com, by phone at 316-755-7328 or in person at the Select-a-Seat box office inside Intrust Bank Arena.

Art at the Arb

The 2026 installment of Art at the Arb at Bartlett Arboretum, 301 N. Line Street in Belle Plaine, happens on Saturday and Sunday and will feature tulips in bloom, art for sale and a long list of live bands. The event lasts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days and will include more than 100 visual and performing artists, including crafters from around the region. The event will also feature food for sale, five bands on Saturday and four on Sunday. Admission at the gate is $10 for adults, free for ages 12 and under. No dogs will be allowed at the venue.

Cowtown tea party

The Historic Wichita Cowtown Inc. Board of Trustees is putting on a Victorian tea party on Saturday afternoon at the venue, 1865 W. Museum Blvd. The event is a fundraiser that will include tea, snacks and entertainment by Northwest High School’s madrigals. There will also be crafts and a presentation on Victorian attire. The event will last from 2 to 4 p.m. Tickets for Old Cowtown members are $23 for adults, $21 for children. They’re $2 more for non-members. Zoo ride

A monthly event called Wheeling Wild will begin on Saturday at the Sedgwick County Zoo, 5555 W. Zoo Blvd. Wheeling Wild is a bike club for “leisurely riders” and will feature a group ride through the grounds after the gates close. The rides will last from 6 to 7 p.m. on Saturday and on May 9, June 13, July 11, Aug. 8 and Sept. 19, and each month, riders will make a “rest stop” at a different exhibit. (On Saturday, it’ll be the cougar exhibit.) The rides will start and end at the Cargill Learning Center. People must bring their own bikes, and all participants must ride a bike. Children can ride in bike seats or in attached wagons. Anyone older than six months must have a ticket, which does not include zoo admission. People must get tickets by 4 p.m. the day of the ride, and they’ll cost $7 for members, $8 for non-members. Get tickets at scz.org/event/wheeling-wild

Stand-up comedy

Comedian Aries Spears, known for his celebrity impressions and for his 1997-2005 stint on the sketch-comedy show “Mad TV,” will make a stop at The Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg, this weekend. His standup show will start at 8 p.m. on Saturday, and the doors will open at 7 p.m. The show is open to all ages, but the comedy will likely include adult content. Tickets are $43.57 to $72.37 at thecotillion.com
