After what appeared to be a terse exchange between Boy Meets World alumna Danielle Fishel and breakout Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt, many assumed the pair had beef. From the camera’s perspective, it seemed like Whitney’s bubbly demeanor had severely shifted after an exchange with Fishel. However, Danielle Fishel was quick to correct these unprecedented claims.
The popular ’90s star had this to say to TMZ: “I definitely did not put her in her place. But I just went to comfort my friend.”
In truth, Danielle’s somber mood was in relation to her friend, Lauren Jauregui, after she was booted off the show due to a lack of votes. Rewatching the clip, it’s clear that Whitney simply changed her attitude after reading the room a little better. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star famously struggles with matching the energy of those around her. This was simply another example of that.
While many fans of the reality star have been bashing Danielle Fishel on social media, it’s clear that there is no bad blood whatsoever. Fischel only had a serious expression because she was attempting to comfort the eliminated contestant, like many of her other costars. Although many Dancing With the Stars fans have lambasted Jaruegui for her less-than-graceful departure, she was clearly loved by the other castmates.
So far, Whitney Leavitt has yet to make any comments concerning the situation, which many have found quite strange. Leavitt is typically quick to respond if she feels as though she has been slighted or wronged in any way. The fact that she hasn’t made a response most likely means that there is nothing worth responding to. However, some fans believe she is just waiting until after she is removed from the show to say her peace. Either way, there is no ill will, at least from Danielle Fishel’s end.
