Darius Rucker is going Instagram official with his girlfriend, songwriter and social media personality Emily Deahl.
The 59-year-old musician shared a selfie Sept. 8 on Instagram that showed the couple posing together in front of the Sphere arena in Las Vegas.
“Wizard of Oz at @spherevegas with my love & my boys. 1000/10!!!!!” he captioned the post.
Rucker’s post comes two days after Deahl shared a humorous selfie video on Instagram. “Waking up in the US after living abroad for a year,” she wrote on her video. She captioned her post “London Calling.”
Deahl has been mentioning her move from Nashville to London in videos on both YouTube and TikTok since at least February 2025.
Meanwhile, Rucker confirmed in February on Instagram that he, too, had been “living in London” while working on music and performing live.
According to Deahl’s official website, she grew up in Rucker’s home state of South Carolina and is inspired by the music of Jack White, Lady Gaga, Freddie Mercury and Elvis Presley.

Rucker’s update about his new romance comes more than five years after he and his ex-wife, Beth Leonard, announced they were splitting after 20 years of marriage.
“Beth and I would like to share that after much reflection we have made the decision to consciously uncouple,” Ruckus wrote on Instagram, using a phrase popularized by Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin when they divorced. “We remain close friends and parenting partners and continue to be each other’s biggest cheerleaders.”
“Our priority will always be our beautiful family,” he continued. “We have so much love in our hearts for each other and will continue to encourage growth and expansion in one other. Please be kind as we take on this journey, and we thank you for your love and support always.”
Rucker and Leonard met when Leonard was working for VH1 in New York and Rucker traveled to the city to perform with his band Hootie & the Blowfish, according to Wide Open Country.
They tied the knot in 2000, according to People, and welcomed two children: daughter Daniella and son Jack. Rucker is also a dad to a daughter named Caroline from a previous relationship.
