While fans wait eagerly for more details on the upcoming Green Lantern series, the DCU project has added yet another rising star to its cast in the form of Days of Our Lives’ Cary Christopher. According to a recent report, Christopher, who has gained worldwide recognition for his turn as Thomas DiMera in the long-running soap opera, has joined the Lanterns cast as a guest star.

As per Deadline, Cary Christopher will play the role of Young Noah, an intelligent yet kind character hailing from a small town. Moreover, Christopher’s Noah, a football player who also possesses abilities far beyond his years, will have a recurring role in Lanterns.

As such, the nine-year-old child actor joins a star-studded cast for the highly anticipated Green Lantern series, which is led by Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre, who portray Hal Jordan and John Stewart, respectively. The already announced supporting lineup for the show also includes Nathan Fillion, Kelly MacDonald, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, Ulrich Thomsen, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Sherman Augustus, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Jason Ritter, Chris Coy, and Paul Ben-Victor.

According to the official synopsis of the Green Lantern series, the eight-episode season will follow the escapades of Lantern veteran Hal Jordan and rookie recruit John Stewart as the two intergalactic officers join forces in order to uncover the truth behind a murder in Nebraska. Based on storylines from DC Comics, the project is co-written by Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King, with James Hawes directing the first two episodes of the show.

Set to premiere on HBO Max sometime in 2026, Lanterns has yet to receive an official release date from DC Studios. However, with Ulrich Thomsen, who has been cast as the conniving Sinestro in the Green Lantern series, recently confirming that he has finished filming his scenes for the show, production seems to be progressing rapidly now.
