It seems that Demi Lovato’s It’s Not That Deep tour is the place to go for a Disney Channel reunion. On her opening night, she was joined by not one, but two old co-stars, as both Selena Gomez and Joe Jonas made the trip to Orlando, Florida, for the occasion.
And while Gomez chose to cheer on her Princess Protection Program co-star from the audience, Jonas took the stage. Treating the fans to a surprise nostalgic performance, the artists (and former lovebirds) sang their hit duet, “This Is Me,” from Camp Rock (2008).
This is not the first time in recent years that the two have reconnected for a surprise performance. In August, Lovato joined the Jonas Brothers at their JONAS20 Greetings From Your Hometown tour for a medley of “This Is Me” and Camp Rock 2 (2010)’s “Wouldn’t Change A Thing.” Shortly after, Disney announced that a new Camp Rock 3 was in production, with a summer 2026 release date and Lovato and the three brothers serving as executive producers.
The reunion with Gomez was just as heartwarming. As child stars, the two were on Barney & Friends together before heading to Disney Channel at the same time, Gomez for Wizards of Waverly Place and Lovato for Camp Rock. Often referring to one another as each other’s best friend, the frequently made vlogs on their time off, sparring with Miley Cyrus and Mandy Jiroux (IYKYK). They even each dated a member of the Jonas Brothers (Gomez was with Nick and Lovato was with Joe). You had to be there.
