Demi Moore is giving a new hairstyle a try.
The actress, 62, is one of the many stars in Gucci’s Halina Reijn- and Spike Jonze-directed short film, The Tiger, which sees her switching up her signature hair look with fall-ready bangs.
In the film — which premiered on Wednesday, Sept. 23 — Moore stars as Barbara Gucci and wears a glittering gold high-neck gown in her first scene. She dialed up the drama with the new look — full bangs with chunkier pieces toward the center of the fringe and curls that cascade past her shoulders — which she paired with an equally dramatic performance in the star-studded short.

The look gets a moment to shine in a scene where Moore stars opposite Elliot Page, who sports a tailored suit and vacant expression. “Braxton, what are you doing? You have to control yourself,” she asks him.
Elsewhere in the film, which kicks off new creative director Demna’s era at the house, fans are treated to a more detailed look at the hairstyle, as a distraught Moore sits on the couch wearing a strapless black gown with a diamond-encrusted necklace and chandelier earrings.

The second look at the bangs arrives during a red power suit moment, where her curls are traded for a sleek, flat-ironed look. The straighter hair revealed that Moore’s bangs featured longer, face-framing pieces that grazed her jawline.

Following the premiere of the short film, Moore’s hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, shared details about how the look came to be.
“When @demimoore called me to share the exciting news about her new film w @gucci and that she wanted me to create the hair for the character, I had the chills,” he shared in an Instagram post on Sept. 25 that featured looks at Moore’s hair, out of costume. “We sat down with @demna @halinareijn #spikejonze and ofc #demimoore to discuss the hair for her character Barbara Gucci.”
Giannetos continued, “Demna had the idea of the bangs — ‘the GUCCI BANGS’ — and ofc he always has the right vision. On the first pic is just Demi arriving wearing her jeans w no makeup on set and after we created the ‘Gucci bangs,’ we all knew that was the right look for the film! Thanks Demi for trusting me in such a big project! And thanks @demna and the rest of the team for all your support! I was so amazed to see Demi performing literally mind-blowing!”

As expected, the actress’ bangs were temporary — she attended Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2026 Milan Fashion Week show on Sept. 23, wearing the same golden Gucci gown from the short film.
The actress wore her signature hairstyle — a center part with glossy, long layers — with subtle curls for the event. No bangs in sight.
