Dharmendra, the legendary ‘He-Man’ of Bollywood, breathed his last today, leaving the film industry and millions of fans in deep mourning. At 89, the actor who won hearts with his charm, action, and unforgettable performances for over six decades has passed away. Earlier this month, Dharmendra was discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital and was recovering at home.In a twist of fate, the day Dharmendra’s demise falls on the 90th birthday of Salim Khan, the celebrated writer of ‘Sholay’. However, on the morning of 24 November, an ambulance was seen arriving at and leaving his Juhu residence. Later in the afternoon, his last rites were held at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle, marking the end of an era in Bollywood.
