Rock addressed the criticism on Fox News and said he would release a video on Tuesday, Feb. 10, to clarify confusion.
“I’ll answer all the haters tomorrow, and we’ll put them back in the ‘shut up and go back to trying to report the fake news,’ ” he said.

Kid Rock told Laura Ingraham during an appearance on “The Ingraham Angle” on Monday that he didn’t lip sync during his halftime show performance.
Rock told Ingraham that when he initially saw playback of the performance, he too noticed his vocals appeared out of sync.
“I even told them when I saw the rough cut, I was like, ‘You guys gotta work on that sync. It’s off,’ ” Rock said, suggesting the performance was not live. “So it was just a syncing issue that they had, and I know they tried to get it right. It was very difficult.”
Rock said he was going to tape a live performance with his DJ, who raps the song with him, to show “people exactly how this works.” Rock said he planned to release the video on Tuesday.
