Disney has renewed a popular children’s series.
Less than one month after its season 1 premiere, “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” has been renewed for two more seasons. The animated interactive show had the biggest original Disney Jr. launch in Disney+’s history.
“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” is a revival of “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” which aired on Disney Channel’s pre-school block from 2006-2016. Those who watched the original series will recognize two songs in the revival: the opening theme and “Hot Dog,” both of which were written and performed by the alternative rock band They Might Be Giants.
Disney+ confirmed Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+’s renewal while announcing two new children’s series: “Cars: Lightning Racers” and “Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends.”
The new “Cars” program is inspired by the Pixar film series of the same name. Several of the movies’ OG stars are set to reprise their roles in “Cars: Lightning Racers,” including Owen Wilson (Lightning McQueen), Larry the Cable Guy (Tow Mater), and Tony Shalhoub (Luigi).
“Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends” will be the first-ever “Avengers” series for pre-school aged viewers. The show will feature iconic Marvel superheroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, Thor, and Black Widow.

“Cars: Lightning Racers,” “Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends” and season 2 of “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” are slated to premiere on Disney Jr. and Disney+ in 2027.
New episodes of “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” premiere on Disney Jr. on Fridays at 10 a.m. ET. They are available to stream on Disney+ the day after they air. The last episode of season 1, titled “Mickey’s Mail Mix-Up,” will debut on Friday, August 29.
The “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” voice cast includes Bret Iwan (Mickey Mouse), Kaitlyn Robrock (Minnie Mouse), Tony Anselmo (Donald Duck), Tress MacNeille (Daisy Duck), and Bill Farmer (Goofy). All the stars, with the exception of Robrock, also lent their voices to the original “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.”
Married couple Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor were the official voices of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, respectively, for years. Allwine died in 2009, at which point Iwan took over for him during season 4 of “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.” Taylor died in 2019, at which point she was replaced by Robrock.
