Rosedale Beach Hotel & Resort was a famous establishment for Black artists and patrons that operated from the early 1900s to the 1970s.
Founded by Black entrepreneur Jesse Vause and his wife, Geoffie, in 1937, Rosedale Beach Hotel & Resort became a premier East Coast destination for Black musical talent.
