Country music star Dolly Parton’s Las Vegas residency replacement has now been announced since the singer canceled her upcoming tour dates after skipping another major event as she battles “health struggles.”
Last week, Dolly took to her Instagram page to share an emotional message about her having to postpone her residency because her “health challenges.” Initially, the Jolene songstress was scheduled to perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on December 4, 6, 7, 10, 12, and 13.
However, while Dolly can no longer perform on these dates, she’s enlisted another beloved music star to step in for her. Country music icon Tim McGraw recently revealed that he would be taking over for some of Dolly’s showtimes at Caesars Palace. Dolly initially postponed her shows because of health concerns.
Tim McGraw fans can see him take the stage at the famous Vegas venue on December 4, 6, 12, and 13.
Dolly’s shows are being pushed to September 2026. Fans need not worry since tickets would remain valid for the new dates.
Amid the news of Dolly’s health issues, her sister, Frieda Parton, took Facebook on Tuesday to ask for “prayer” for the Grammy-winning songstress.
“Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately,” Freida captioned a beautiful photo of Dolly.
“I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been lead to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me,” she continued.
Freida added: “[Dolly’s] strong, she’s loved, and with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she’s going to be just fine. Godspeed, my sissy Dolly. We all love you!”

Dolly detailed in her social media post last week why she had to cancel her concerts.
“I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts,” she penned. “As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures.”
The blonde bombshell continued: “As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon. In all seriousness, given this, I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see.”
She added: “The Jolene vocalist continued: “You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you.”
Dolly further wrote: “While I’ll still be able to work on all of my projects from here in Nashville, I just need a little time to get show ready, as they say,” before reassuring her fans not to “worry” as she wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
“And don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet,” she explained. “He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you. I love you and thank you for understanding.”
