Police have promised “preventative” patrols to crack down on unlicenced music events over the bank holiday weekend.
Dorset Police said it was targeting nearly a dozen locations which may be “vulnerable” to illegal activities.
The force said it has been working with land owners and other organisations such as the Ministry of Defence to “strengthen” security arrangements.
It is urging people to report unusual activity such as large groups arriving late at night or early morning to remote, industrial, rural or warehouse locations or significant convoys of vehicles.
