Drake continues to show that if someone slanders him publicly, then they can get that same energy in return, regardless of their job title or how recently they were viewed as his friend. Kai Cenat expressed his disappointment with Iceman Episode 3 on them, and the 38-year-old rapper responded via Instagram.
The Toronto superstar’s $ome $pecial $hows 4 U tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR recently hit Paris, and in typical tour fashion, he shared photos of himself performing or hanging around the city. One particular photo, though, was a close-up of the top of Cenat’s head. The image made his forehead look rather large, and it was clear that the popular streamer needed to get his locs retwisted.
Cenat’s fans informed him of the post during his Mafiathon 3 stream, and his reaction was as animated as ever. He sank his face into his hands upon seeing the photo and soon yelled, “Why would he post this?! Drake! Why would this ni**a post my sh*t?! Where you get this from?!” His rant was even funnier because WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker’s entrance theme, “Rest In Peace,” played in the background.
It is unclear whether Drizzy and Cenat are friends and this is playful, or there is something deeper going on. Just a few months ago, they partnered up for the “Somebody Loves Me” giveaway, where fans could submit music video ideas and win money to bring their visuals to life. The duo was supposed to go through submissions live during one of Cenat’s streams, but the event was cancelled and never revisited. Notably, the giveaway was sparked by Cenat’s negative review of the “Nokia” music video.
He doubled down on the criticism this past weekend when the 6 God broadcasted Iceman Episode 3 live from Italy. It was his most in-depth narrative yet, showing four Pinocchios at dinner and later surrounding him in a large symphony hall, plus brief stops at the club with Yeat and more. He previewed his latest singles “Dog House” with Yeat and Julia Wolf, and “Somebody Loves Me Pt. 2” with PND and Cash Cobain.
Cenat, on his stream, described the entire stream as “a**” and the “biggest waste of [his] f**king time.” It admittedly seemed difficult for him to critique Drake, so perhaps they are still on good terms, but he repeatedly said “I can’t fake it” while reiterating that the stream was not good.
