Drake is releasing not one, not two, but three (!!!) new projects on Friday (May 15).
Toward the end of the fourth episode of his Iceman livestream series, the five-time Grammy winner, whose most recent solo full-length arrived in 2023, revealed that he would indeed be giving fans a trifecta. In addition to Iceman, we can expect Habibti and Maid of Honour.
Shortly after the undeniably shocking announcement, Drake took to Instagram to share possible covers for all three projects, including one for Iceman nodding at Michael Jackson’s signature glove.
Drake and the late King of Pop, of course, have commanded the charts with decidedly comparable levels of dominance.
It wasn’t immediately clear which songs from Thursday night’s livestream episode would ultimately land on Iceman, or one of the other two projects dropping alongside it. Regardless, Drake is taking a huge swing here, and it’s hard not to applaud the ambition.
As this new throuple, of sorts, nears its global debut, here’s the Complex guide on how to shop past Drake albums on vinyl.
