Well, it looks like all the work she’s put into being on daytime TV paid off, thanks to the surprise career achievement she received from the 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards on October 17. Per a report from People, Drew scored her first-ever Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host, beating out nominees Jenna Bush Hager, Hoda Kotb, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Ripa, and Mark Consuelos for the honor.
Despite not being able to be attend the Los Angeles-based ceremony in person, Drew shared on Instagram what winning an award like this meant for her.
“I am so grateful for the Daytime Emmy Award for Daytime Talk Series Host,” she wrote. “Thank you to every single amazing person that makes @thedrewbarrymoreshow possible. I love each and every one of you so much. This is not my show. This is our show … I hope we get to do this together forever!”
As soon as fans learned of Drew’s incredible career moment, many rushed to social media to express their elation.

Now, it’s important to note The Drew Barrymore Show didn’t just win for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host at the Daytime Emmys this year. The TV program picked two other awards during the ceremony: One for Outstanding Hairstyling and Makeup, and another for Outstanding Directing Team.
