Dwayne Johnson has shared some exciting news about the next Jumanji movie. The upcoming film is set to be the last movie in the franchise.
Johnson called it “a massive, fun, heartfelt adventure” and said it feels “emotionally appropriate for our beloved Jumanji franchise to end on this beautiful grace note of our final film.”
Back in December 2019, Johnson revealed that the new movie would explore the villain from The Next Level, Jurgen the Brutal.
The story will show that Jurgen was an avatar in the game, and it will also reveal who was controlling him. Jake Kasdan, who directed the previous films, confirmed in March 2020 that early plans for the next movie were underway.
