NBA Hall of Famer Dwight Howard has signed with Innovative Artists Entertainment for representation.
Howard continues to be managed by The Gym Agency. Mujaahid Abdul-Baasit, Howard’s manager and business partner at The Gym Agency, collaborates with him on a number of ventures, including their Out of the Box production and media company.
Howard is an eight-time NBA All-Star, eight-time All NBA Team honoree, five-time All Defensive Team member, and three-time defensive player of the year. He began his professional career in 2004, when he was selected as the first pick of the first round of the NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic.
He played eight seasons for the Magic before going onto play for teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, the Houston Rockets, the Washington Wizards, and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Howard was also part of the gold-medal winning U.S. mens basketball team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. His teammates that year included Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade.
Outside of basketball, Howard has appeared in shows like “Black-ish” at ABC, “Never Have I Ever” for Netflix, and “The Odd Couple” at CBS. He has also made cameos in films such as “The Equalizer 2” starring Denzel Washington and “Just Wright” starring Queen Latifah and Common. He competed on the thirty-third season of “Dancing With The Stars” and on the sixth season of “The Masked Singer.” He also finished third on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.” Howard currently hosts the podcast “Above The Rim with DH 12.”
