The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ star was eliminated from DWTS Season 34 during its “Prince Night” episode. On November 21, three days after the episode aired, the social media celebrity posted an emotional video on Instagram, reflecting on her journey in the show.
Whitney Leavitt began the video with tears, saying, “I’m just gonna speak from the heart, and share what I’m feeling. I share the good, I share the bad, I share the ugly. So I’m just gonna keep doing that.”
The 32-year-old continued, “When you’re casted on Dancing with the Stars, you are seeing these people hours every single day. Then it just stops. It genuinely feels like a breakup. It feels like I’m going through withdrawals right now.”
Leavitt acknowledged how much she misses going to DWTS sets. “Today just felt so weird. It felt so weird not going into the studio and meeting with Mark [Ballas] and learning a dance. Like, it just felt weird, and it made me sad,” she explained.
She reflected on the relationship she built on the show, describing them as “real friendships” and “real connections.” The DWTS alum added, “You learn so much about yourself and people uplift you constantly, and you challenge yourself, you just feel so loved.”
The MomToker then shared a “key takeaway” from the DWTS. “It’s so important to surround yourself with people who believe in you, who want to see you achieve your delusional dreams, as cheesy as that sounds,” Leavitt shared.
“F—, this is gonna be the hardest part. Holy s—,” she added, with tears rolling down her face. “Mark is that friend to me… I will forever be so grateful for that friendship.” She added, “The one thing I love the most that I wasn’t expecting was gaining a life-long friend. A friend who makes fart noises every single day,” she said, jokingly.
Whitney Leavitt concluded the video, saying, “I love you guys. And I f—— love this show.”
DWTS 34 finale is set to air on November 25, 2025.
