Dancing With the Stars returned with Dylan Efron and his professional partner Daniella Karagach delivering a stunning contemporary routine.
The reality television personality and digital content creator delivered a show-stopping performance during Dedication Night, paying homage to his acclaimed older brother, Zac Efron.
Dylan, 33, danced to Rewrite the Stars – the hit song performed by his brother Zac alongside Zendaya in the blockbuster musical The Greatest Showman.
The emotional routine was dedicated to the brothers’ five year old half-sister, Olivia.
In a pre-performance segment, he explained: “I wasn’t expecting to be a big brother. But immediately I was inseparable from her. She’s everything to me. I want to show her to live her life with confidence.”
He also honored his brother Zac, 37, declaring he has “always taken care of me and he did things that were so selfless, I want to be that to Olivia”.
Born Nicholas Dylan Harrison Efron, the California native was named after legendary musician Bob Dylan.
While he’s now established as a television figure and producer, the star actually completed his bachelor of science degree in economics at university.
Working as a production coordinator, he has contributed to major films including Ready Player One and American Sniper. He additionally served as a producer on his brother’s hit series, Down to Earth with Zac Efron.
In 2024, he participated in the American edition of The Traitors, emerging victorious as a Faithful.
Dylan Efron is romantically involved with Courtney King, and the star revealed how Dancing with the Stars was impacting their relationship. On the Viall Files podcast, he admitted: “I would be lying if [I said] Dancing With the Stars wasn’t tough, but I think it’s tougher on Courtney than me.”
He also revealed that he is currently residing outside of their Manhattan Beach home, closer to the studio.
Dylan and King have been acquainted since high school, but he didn’t publicly acknowledge their relationship until March.
“It’s cool because she’s actually not on social media and she works a 40-hour week job,” he shared.
“It’s not like I’m hiding her from the world or anything. She understands the job, all the stuff. She doesn’t really like being on camera.”
He further confessed that he is looking forward to the “next chapter” and “definitely” wants children.
