Don Henley, Joe Walsh and the Eagles aren’t ready to cash their chips in just yet.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group just extended their ongoing Las Vegas Sphere residency into February 2026. Their four newly-added shows in celebration of the 50th anniversary of their album “Their Greatest Hits 1971-75” are scheduled to take place on:

Friday, Feb 20

Saturday, Feb. 21

Friday, Feb 27

Saturday, Feb. 28

With the addition of this quartet of new concerts — their 49th, 50th, 51st and 52nd, respectively — the ’70s soft rock chart-toppers officially claim the throne of most shows performed by any act at Sphere besting Dead and Company’s 48.

“Life’s been good with Eagles at Sphere,” the Sin City venue shared on Instagram.

In the event you have’t seen the “Hotel California” group live, past records of their shows indicate they typically perform 20 songs per gig. That includes hits like “Life In The Fast Lane,” “Desperado,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “Take It Easy” and “Lyin’ Eyes” among others.

On top of the unreal sound — bolstered by Sphere’s 167,000 (!) amplified loudspeaker drivers — the young concert venue is also known for their larger-than-life, wraparound eye candy.

“Incredible visuals accompanied the Eagles’ performance, with desert landscapes, Los Angeles landmarks and otherworldly images projected on the Sphere’s all-encompassing screens,” Ultimate Classic Rock gushed about the band’s opening night show back in September 2024. “Further highlights included “Take It to the Limit” with a spacey, intergalactic motif, and “The Boys of Summer,” accompanied by footage of oversized swimmers, diving and paddling through the Sphere’s massive walls.”

As for whether or not these recently-announced gigs prove to be the long-running group’s last is yet to be seen. Prior to their Sphere stint, they headlined all over North America on their ‘Long Goodbye Farewell Tour,’ which seemed to be their swan song before linking up with Sphere.

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Eagles shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the newly-added February dates is Friday, Oct. 24.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

The Eagles band members

When you’ve been “taking it to the limit” since 1971, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group.

Still, after 50+ years together, 78-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the timeless ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to head the group.

At all Sphere dates, he’s joined by 77-year-old Joe Walsh (who also fronted The James Gang), 77-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 30-something son, Deacon.

Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed away in 2016) and Randy Meisner (he left this mortal coil in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn’t played with the band since 2016. As for guitarist Don Felder, he tours with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, although The Post reported he suffered a medical emergency at a show earlier this year.

Over the course of the group’s half-century together, The Eagles have received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums. Now that’s a track record.
