Elisabeth Hasselbeck is back on TV, and this time she’s joining Gayle King and Nate Burelson as a guest host on “CBS Mornings.”

The weekday morning television news program shared the news in an X post on June 11, saying, “Next week on @CBSMornings: @ehasselbeck joins as a special guest host!”

“Catch her with @GayleKing and @nateburleson Monday (June 15)–Wednesday (June 17), talking parenting, pop culture, and more during the 8AM hour,” the post continues.

Hasselbeck, 49, will be one of several guest hosts throughout the summer, People reported. Inside Edition host Eva Pilgrim is also expected to appear on the morning show sometime this week, according to the outlet.

Who is Elisabeth Hasselbeck?

Hasselbeck is a TV personality and talk show host who initially caught the attention of millions of viewers in 2001 as a contestant on the second season of “Survivor.”

After finishing in fourth place on CBS’s reality television competition series, she married now-former NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck the following year.

The “Survivor” alum would then join “The View” in 2003, co-hosting the ABC daytime talk show until 2013. During her run on the show, Hasselbeck became known for her conservative commentary and views, even speaking at the Republican National Convention in both 2004 and 2008.

After departing “The View,” Hasselbeck co-hosted “Fox & Friends” from 2013 to 2015. Her final day with Fox News was on Dec. 22, 2015.

“CBS Mornings” airs weekdays from 7-9 a.m. ET.

Hasselbeck will be on during the 8 a.m. hour, according to the program’s June 11 X post.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s brief return to ‘The View’

Over a decade after leaving “The View,” Hasselbeck returned briefly in March, joining co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro for the “hot topics” segment. Notably absent was co-host Joy Behar, with whom Hasselbeck had a back-and-forth in 2025 when she slammed the 83-year-old comedian’s criticism of Carrie Underwood’s performance at President Donald Trump’s second inauguration.

“Civil discourse is not dead. We might have differences of opinion, but we love each other and we’re stronger,” Hasselbeck said during her March 2 appearance. “I actually think for the young people watching it’s important to see that … we can hold our positions in one hand, and each other’s hand in the other, and be able to just live as Americans with the freedom that we have and speak our hearts and minds.”

“We get to do that all week. It might get a little spicy at times, but we do not hate each other, we love each other,” Hasselbeck continued. “We have the freedom to do it, and it’s important to remind everybody of that.”

Following her brief return, Hasselbeck took to social media to thank “The View” for welcoming her back.

“Grateful for this week! 20 years go I took the seat at the table of the View and returning felt like home,” her March 7 X post reads. “@TheView – it’s wonderful production team, the women at the table and entire crew- hair makeup sound tech security and all: THANK YOU!”
