Emma Watson isn’t letting her feud with JK Rowling get her down as she was spotted at a party during Paris Fashion Week.
The Harry Potter actress, 35, joined celebrities such as Alexa Chung and Eve Hewson at a Miu Miu party in the French capital on Monday. Emma looked super stylish as she stepped out wearing a pink silk minidress.
She paired her look with some black heels and a black leather handbag, completing her outfit with a pair of large gold earrings. Emma’s outing in Paris comes after she was branded “ignorant” by JK Rowling.
Emma was joined by Alexa Chung, who wore a gray woollen jumper and a black scarf draped around her neck. She added a brown mini skirt to her look and carried her belongings around in a small black handbag.
Actress Eve Hewson was also at the event and wore a polo neck jumper paired with a knee-length black skirt.
The author went on to suggest Emma was “never likely to need” to use the single-sex spaces she has campaigned against trans people having access to, such as public toilets.
Rowling said, “I wasn’t a multimillionaire at fourteen. I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous.
“I therefore understand from my own life experience what the trashing of women’s rights in which Emma has so enthusiastically participated means to women and girls without her privileges.”
