The Oliver Nestus Freeman Round House and African American Museum’s summer concert series is back with weekly concerts on Sundays from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The free concerts take place outside of the Round House Museum, 1202 Nash St. E.
Attendees are asked to take lawn chairs.
No coolers, alcohol or profanity are allowed as the concert series is a family-friendly event.
Purchase food from the food truck vendors, including Everett’s Concessions, Jeff’s Crabs, The Wicked Slush Truck and Neon Scoops Italian Ice.
DJ Trouble will also be at the concerts.

The Oliver Nestus Freeman Round House Museum, which opened in 2001, preserves and promotes African American history, art and culture for Wilson and its surrounding areas to increase the awareness, understanding and appreciation of cultural traditions and African American contributions to society.
