Inspired by the imaginative environments created by Meow Wolf — a nationally acclaimed art collective known for its walk-through, story-driven spaces — this is a place where each room invites you to look closer, ask questions, and lose yourself in the magic. After exploring the immersive world, audiences gather for the world premiere of “The Wonder in Alice,” a whimsical new play where five versions of Alice take the stage. Adventurous, Curious, Imaginative, Expressive, and Loquacious — each Alice brings a different voice, and together they navigate a Wonderland built from language itself. This early childhood music learning program got its start in West Chester and is taking the show on the road to share a well-rounded musical experience with infants, toddlers, and their families — an experience rooted in melody, rhythm, repetition and collaboration. Even more important than these musical concepts is the quality time Tot Rock will provide you and your children in a safe, fun, positive space full of music, laughter, and shared experiences. CapFilm: Cat Video Fest 2025. The world’s No. 1 cat video festival is back with the latest and greatest cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos and classic internet powerhouses. A portion of ticket proceeds from every show goes directly to local cats in need through Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter, Inc., a volunteer-run, foster-based cat rescue in York County, operating six satellite stores for adoptable cats in the York and Hanover areas. In 2024 they took in 1,231 cats, and by late July 2025, they have already welcomed over 650 cats. 7 p.m. Saturday, at the Capitol Theatre at the Appell Center. Tickst $12.
Film Screening — “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” is a 2000 American comedy-drama film directed by the Coen brothers, loosely based on Homer’s “The Odyssey.” The story follows three convicts from a Mississippi chain gang as they escape and embark on a journey to find buried treasure. The film, set in 1930s Mississippi, is a humorous reimagining of the epic poem, incorporating elements like sirens, a cyclops, and a blind prophet. York Symphony’s “Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony.” They will begin transporting you to the natural world through the magic of music with Strauss’ famous “Tales from the Vienna Woods” — waltzes through the countryside with poetic justice — followed by York Symphony’s Oboist Jill Haley’s work, National Parks Suite No. 2, which embodies America’s beloved landscapes.
