NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — As we count down to Mardi Gras day, krewes host some of the city’s biggest parties leading up to their rolls through New Orleans.
The Super Krewe Bacchus announced on Thursday, Jan. 29, the music lineup for its 41st annual Mardi Gras concert Bacchus Bash.

Bacchus officials say the daylong block party has become one of New Orleans’ largest Mardi Gras traditions that happens on the Sunday before Fat Tuesday. The bash began in the mid 1980s with the all-day celebration preceding the Bacchus Parade.
The combo indoor, outdoor party consists of several stages, local bands, Mardi Gras drink specials and food. Hitting the stages this year are PaperChase, KARMA, Neutral Snap and DJs Manny Fresh, Wixx and Taf.
The party is free and open to the public, but the VIP tickets are available for $100.
The Krewe of Bacchus is set to roll on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 5:15 p.m. with the theme “Bacchus Celebrates America 250.” Actor Patrick Warburton will reign as Bacchus LVII.
