At the age of 76, singer, songwriter, guitarist Bruce Springsteen has been a rock star for over 50 years. But in his early 30’s, after his first big success, he withdrew from the public eye for awhile. The new film, SPRINGSTEEN: DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE, dramatizes that time in his life. Jeremy Allen White gives a stunningly good performance as the young Springsteen who took a few months away from the spotlight to write some quietly emotional songs that deal with his traumatic childhood caused by an alcoholic father.
